Finally, an update!

April 20th, 2010 focusvideoworks No comments

I know, I know… I have been severely neglecting the blog for some time now, but we have been very busy! Weddings, events and web design have been taking up most of my time lately.

As we speak, I am getting close to completing a brand new website for our friends over at The Culbertson West in New Albany. If you are still looking for a wedding or reception venue, then I highly recommend checking them out. The new site will be at www.culbertsonwest.com. It currently redirects to their old site, but it should be up in the next couple of weeks.

Speaking of web design, if you own a small business and you are looking for web design services, contact us for a consultation and price quote.

On June 13th we filmed the wedding of Erika & Jason at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in New Albany, followed by a reception at Kye’s. It turned out to be a great day and the video is shaping up to be one of our best. Editing is underway, but in the meantime here are some stills taken from the footage:

Check back for some video soon!

Mad Decent

Over the weekend, the Focus Videoworks crew headed up to Philadelphia to do some work for Mad Decent Records. If you’ve never heard any of their stuff, they produce mostly Electronic/Indie music, as well as remixes for some of the biggest names in the recording industry. Great stuff. Check them out here: Mad Decent Records

Our project was to create a new tour promo for Major Lazer. We hung out at the studio and attended the in-store for Major Lazer’s new album, Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do, before filming the Major Lazer show Friday night at The Electric Factory.

Here’s what we came up with:
